'The Tetris brand recognizes that approximately 10% of the population is left-handed. Rather than have left-handed players adapt to Tetris in a right-hand setting, we've decided to create a special game mode that flips everything to a left-hand perspective,' a spokesperson for The Tetris Company explained.
The left-handed game mode will be accessible across all versions of Tetris starting April 1, 2019. To access the left-handed Tetris game mode, players will need to open up their game options and swap their settings over from Standard to Leftie. After that, left-handers can enjoy their favorite Tetris game from a left-handed viewpoint.
